It is not the gap between the live performance and the recording which they attempt to close. It is the gap between the recording and the living, ever open human ear. No other musical genre packs as much punch into a small package as does the march. The basic composition of the march is fairly simple: movement, dynamically portrayed, using the basic elements of rhythm, melody, and logical form. The richness of my instrument allowed me to record an eclectic repertoire presenting different styles and atmospheres.
